Nisyros is famous for its extinct Volcano Polyvotis, the crater of which occupies a major part of the island. For sure you are going to enjoy the serene atmosphere of the island and the view of the small houses that either white or brightly colored. There is a frequent bus service from the port directly to the volcano. Also there is a holy monastery of Virgin with an interesting Museum.
